Spa Ayurda

(Pronounced i-er-da)

First founded in 1996 by internationally recognised Dr Ajit and Rippon Sandhu around the specific philosophies of Ayurveda, this successful Health and Wellbeing centre is sought by many from far and wide.  To satisfy this demographic the Owners decided to re-develop the Spar so that it could be multiplied as a franchise model worldwide.  We worked closely with, and are most grateful to, Rippan Sandhu for her teachings of Vedic Vastu Shastra being the architecture, design and building in accordance with Natural Law.  Our commission was to re-create the Health and Wellness Centre to offer its patrons traditional health and wellbeing in a special environment that would be a fusion of contemporary serenity with traditional Indian embellishments, the result being the Spa Ayurda.

Spa Ayruda is based on the well founded knowledge of Ayurveda which is more than 5,000 years old.  Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word which has two roots:  Ayur means life and Veda means knowledge.  So it is described as the Science of Life.  It originates from a philosophic tradition where total well being is the harmony in the mind, body and soul.

Spa Ayruda has been created to deliver this well being concept which is well founded on the principles of Ayruveda, yoga, and meditation.

Spa Ayurda will redefine wellness, it is a way of life.

Our primary task was to create an environment that would be the home for the traditional holistic knowledge of Ayurveda.  A place where such benefits as Facial therapy, Shirodhara, Body Massages, Yoga, Meditation, Wellness packages and body rituals, Nutritional Advice, Lifestyle consultations all combined with the retailing of an exclusive range of health, beauty, and hair care products specifically prescribed for purchase.

Spa Ayurda includes concepts of creation and energy, precepts of morals and ethical life, and recommended practices relating to nutrition, physical activity, rest, relaxation and spiritual practice.

The Spa Ayurda model can be tailored to fit a stand alone spa, or a spa contained within a hotel or resort complex without loss of recognisable features that are essential for patron recognition.
